Der diesjährige Designmai stand unter dem Motto "Designcity". Es wurde eine Vielfalt aktueller Projekte aus dem Bereich Design und Architektur präsentiert, die im Buch mit bebilderten Beiträgen dargestellt werden. Die Themenkomplexe "Design Cities" und "Shelter/ Temporary Architecture" werden in Metatexten, die Zitate der wichtigsten theoretischen Positionen enthalten, eingeführt. Durch die flankierenden Texte ist das Buch ein wertvoller Reader für Designer, Architekten und Kreative, die sich mit Design City befassen oder in urbanen Infrastrukturen arbeiten.
